Co-designing a website for a local youth charity

Redesign of Global Generation's website, with staff and young people. Workshops with the team helped established the site’s intended objectives, users and how it should act and feel. This fed into the development of a new content structure, rewriting all the content and a new visual identity.

In a creative workshop, young people aged 18-24 year old analysed the charity's visual brand, (hat tip to the awesome
Fieldwork) and generated a library of visual assets for use on the new site and other digital and printed branded materials. These included textured backgrounds, icons, a map and a set of drawings of different plants. The young people also created a bespoke typeface from the logo creating a usable otf. font.

Collaborator: Ed Ball (web developer)

“Tori works in a truly collaborative way. She is open to suggestions and ideas and also confident in her own recommendations of what would work best. The whole process of working with her has been smooth from start to finish, communication easy, direct and transparent. She kept us on track in terms of moving forward and sticking to deadlines. We are so happy with the result!”
