Interpretation for family outdoor trail

Design of signage and a mobile-first website that brought meaning to 20 miniature architectural structures embedded across Kensington, London.

  • Structures created by leading architects, each inspired by a different species (from weaver birds to humpback whales.)

  • Hidden throughout the built environment: doorsteps, tree forks, railings and planters

  • Signage and digital content explored the natural inspiration behind each piece.

  • QR-codes linked to further content including a bespoke Google map

The trail was featured as part of the London Design Festival.

“Tori is incredibly organised and experienced. She is such a pleasure to work with, integrating into the existing team, teaching new methods and systems for project management to the team, and driving the project forward achieving superior results. We are very happy to be working with her, will work with her again, and would definitely recommend her to other organisations.”

Melissa Woolford, Museum of Architecture

“I had so much fun doing the trail with two of my friends. We walked around finding each little house or building together. We liked having to look up and down to find each one, some were in really surprising locations like above a door or on top of a shop.”
