Collective artwork created with stroke patients
Through workshops with members of Dyscover, a charity supporting people with aphasia following stroke, we co-created a participatory infographic.
This visualised answers to eight personal questions using paper tiles that represent each participant’s answers to 8 personal questions. Together, these form a visual data set – every one unique and marked with their creator’s initials.
Designed to support people with communication and physical challenges, simple collage techniques enabled participants to collaborate in pairs.
The process was as much about connection and storytelling as the final piece, sparking conversations around shared experiences.
Inspired by Stefanie Posavec’s Happiness.
