Interpretation for family outdoor trail

Design of the signage and a mobile-first website which gave meaning to 20 miniature structures dotted around the built environment of Kensington, London. Each micro-structure was created by leading architects and inspired by nature. Visitors had to spot the hidden structures around the site, tucked into doorsteps, tree forks, railings and planters.

Signage and website gave details on the plants, insects and animals each took inspiration from - explaining how they build their homes and create shapes and structures around themselves - from caddis flies to coral reefs, weaver birds to hump back whales. Signs featured QR codes linking to Nature’s Architects website with more content and bespoke Google map. The trail featured in the London Design Festival. Visit site.

“Tori is incredibly organised and experienced. She is such a pleasure to work with, integrating into the existing team, teaching new methods and systems for project management to the team, and driving the project forward achieving superior results. We are very happy to be working with her, will work with her again, and would definitely recommend her to other organisations.”

Melissa Woolford, Museum of Architecture

“I had so much fun doing the trail with two of my friends. We walked around finding each little house or building together. We liked having to look up and down to find each one, some were in really surprising locations like above a door or on top of a shop.”
